The rain was striking the roof and
sounding as if tapping on a drum
It fell so very hard and loudly and
an invisible guitar began to strum
You could hear it all over the land
And it was a very imaginary band
Imagination filled in the blanks so
emerging from the still, horns blow
Sounds filled inside my head, and
it was once upon a time band instead
The thunder added to the chorus
and followed by a loud drum for us!
Twinkling sounds stole a moment
Think of a star's waiting in lament
Massive thunder strikes an old tree
twitches vocalize a yawning to me
Noises serve to speak for ghosts who ...
